Requested Program Dates: May 15 – 2 students, June 1st – 1 student
Conditions to be met upon arrival before the students can start working: receipt from Social security office
Job description: Various duties at the restaurant and ice cream store. Front and back of the house. Kitchen work, set up, waiting on customers in dining room and outside area
Work schedule: 32–40hrs/week, payrate: $8.50/hr, some positions may also have counter tips (ice cream sales)
Required level of English: Upper Intermediate to Advanced
Uniforms. What is provided and what needs to be brought: Company shirt, slacks or short, non-slippery shoes
Housing: students can be housed with restaurant employees (husband and wife) who live 3 miles away, have 3 spare rooms where students can live, $100–120/month
Additional information: From Chicago O'Hare fly to Gogebic Iron County Airport , we can pick up from there. Alternatively take bus from Chicago IL to Marenisco MI (www.mercerwi.com/about.htm, www.mercerwi.com/activities.htm)
