Browseabout Books is located on The Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, DE and is a family owned business selling unique books, coffee, cards, toys and a great atmosphere. Lots of sun, fun and beaches await.
This is a great place for people who enjoy working in retail, love books, working in a busy environment, and meeting new people all the time. Smiling and being friendly and outgoing is a big part of this job. You will be expected to be willing to greet customers, smile and be energetic in your job duties.
Position and duties:
Retail Associates will assist customers in finding and purchasing selected merchandise in the store,
- encourage customers to purchase products,
- greet customers with a smiley & „bubbly“ attitude,
- find out the customers needs and and be able answer their questions,
- Collecting payment from the customer, ringing up sales on a cash register and working with American Currency.
You will have additional duties including: Cleaning duties; Taking the trash out; Sweeping floors; Stocking displays and supplies;Keeping the Merchandise and Work area clean, working in the Cafe and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

32 hours per week (weekends and holidays required)
Wage: $9.00/hour
Overtime is available at 13.50 per hour.

Local bus service also operates between Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD so you are easily able to visit exciting Ocean City, MD.
