Remote lodge in the middle of national park. Perfect for those who love nature and don’t mind spending summer without shops and big-city entertainment.
This family owned lodge has 10 years experience with Work & Travel students and many returnees summer after summer. Hotel is a replica of an original mining era building, so rooms are smaller, but comfy and host up to 75 guests from all around the world every day.
Duties:
- Housekeeping for girls, eventually boys – cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms which are located throughout the lodge, vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, polishing, changing towels and sheets, making beds, laundry work
- Dishwasher/kitchen help for boys (full) – cleaning dishes and helping at the kitchen
Both postitions require standing on feet all day, bending and carrying stuff.
Work schedule: 8–9 hours per day, 5 days per week
$9.75/hour, $14.50/hour for overtime, End of season $500 bonus for completing the season.
Housing: Provided for free, also meals provided for free
Housing is in company‘s bunkhouse which is fully furnished, and there are 1 or 2 persons per room. There is a tip pool shared by all Staff. Meals are provided as well.
