We are looking for candidates for a brand new position OPERATIONS DIRECTOR.

Your mission:

Leading the operations and finance department. Maximizing productivity, quality, customer and employee satisfaction. The Operation director has to work hand in hand with the technical director and both will be company director.

Your Responsibilities:

manage the consistent output of a team of factory employees on a daily basis
oversee cost-effective manufacturing operations
distribute responsibilities across departments, building efficiencies and utilising available manpower to improve results
manage the production planning process so machines and workforce are utilized in most efficient way.
manage relations with sales & order management offices in the countries with the products are sold.
conduct workforce training and development
ensure quality controls and equipment maintenance programs are enforced
develop, implement and enforce company OH&S standards in line with relevant legislation
monitor and report on KPIs
lead a recruiting and selection process
ensure onboarding requirements are adequate and executed properly
participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs
manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
organize and chair staff meetings
lead the weekly Management Team meetings
smooth running of the office incl. office management related activities
last but not least – monitoring company cash flow and analyses investments

Your profile:

university degree in Operations management, machinery or related field
at least 5 years experience in small-sized or mid-sized manufacturing management
financial Management experience in an operations/production environment
very good communication skills both verbal and written, ability to effectively communicate with all employees of the company
budget development and oversight experience
delegate responsibilities effectively
advanced English is a must, German is considered as an advantage
driving licence
